This weekend we were hosted by Jay to cover their newest addition: The Pump House waterpark, an expansive indoor water oasis of inverted water slides, surfing waves and a deep-water, ropeless climbing wall.  This model of park was popularized in the Wisconsin Dells and is the newest trend in the ski industry: ski and splash.  An arcade, mezzanine pub, an indoor whitewater river suitable for kayaking (literally) were just a few of the attractions for this twenty-million dollar facility.  Read about it and how the park and the model integrates with a strained economy in my upcoming article for the National Ski Areas Association Journal next month.  We would like to thank Marketing Director Steve Wright and President Bill Stenger for their hospitality.
