Last month Darcie and I floated the Androscoggin through the controversial section of Central Maine. Alex Poland was our host and guide and did a great job showing us why this water is some of the most underrated in all of New England. His yurt park, Western Maine Yurts, was the perfect lodging spot and his family’s hospitality and his patience with us is very appreciated.
